KL Tower (Menara KL) – 421 m – 2 blocks from Cormar
Menara Kuala Lumpur remains the seventh-tallest telecommunications tower on the planet and the undisputed icon of the KL skyline. From Cormar Suites it’s a flat, two-block stroll—under five minutes—so you can beat the tour-bus queues by arriving right at opening time.
- Observation Deck (276 m): 360° glass windows.
- SkyDeck (300 m open platform): No glass—just a waist-high railing between you and the city. Sunset slots sell out first; pre-book online or ask reception to reserve.
- ORBIT Revolving Restaurant (formerly Atmosphere 360): The tower’s revolving restaurant, rebranded ORBIT in 2025; a full rotation is reported to take about 90 minutes.

Petronas Twin Towers – 452 m – a short walk from Cormar
The towers are about 450 m from Cormar Suites in a straight line, a short walk away, and KLCC LRT station is within about a 10-minute walk. Highlights at the Petronas Towers:
- Skybridge (levels 41–42, 170 m): The world’s highest two-storey bridge. For same-day visits, buy tickets online at eticket2.petronastwintowers.com.my.
- 86th-floor Observation Deck: Open Tuesday–Sunday and public holidays, 9:00–22:30, last admission 21:30; on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Monday, 9:00–20:00 (last admission 19:00); closed on other Mondays. Night views include the illuminated Menara KL mast.
- Suria KLCC: The mall at the towers’ base, with six retail levels and roughly 300 stores.
Staying a short walk away makes it easy to pick an off-peak time slot.
Merdeka 118 – 678.9 m – Malaysia’s new tallest
Completed in 2023, Merdeka 118 overtook the Petronas Towers by about 227 m. It has 118 floors—hence the name—and stands beside the historic Merdeka Stadium where independence was declared in 1957.
- Observation deck: As of September 2026, the deck (“The View at 118”) is not open to the public and no tickets are on sale. Anyone selling tickets is unauthorised.
- Getting there: Take the MRT Kajang Line from Bukit Bintang; Merdeka is the next stop.
- For now: Enjoy the tower from street level, or see it from the KL Tower and Petronas decks.
