Genting Highlands
Malaysia’s mountain-top resort city at 6,000 ft — theme parks, a world-class casino, shopping at SkyAvenue, cool mountain air and dramatic cloud views. One of the most popular day trips from Kuala Lumpur and a reliable cure for KL’s heat.
Getting there: roughly an hour by car from Cormar, then the Awana Skyway cable car up the mountain. We can arrange a driver plus your cable-car tickets in a single call to reception.

Chin Swee Caves Temple
A nine-storey lamp-lit pagoda clinging to the mountainside at 4,600 ft, a 15-metre Buddha statue, an open-air SkyTerrace with panoramic views — and a Chinese temple built right into the rock. One of the most photographed spots in Malaysia.
Getting there: the Awana Skyway cable car has a dedicated Chin Swee station — you can hop off the gondola on the way up to Genting, explore, and continue on with the same ticket.

Batu Caves
The 272 rainbow-coloured steps, the giant 42-metre golden statue of Murugan, and the vast limestone cave temple at the top — one of the most photographed sights in Malaysia and the centre of Thaipusam festival every year.
Getting there: 30 minutes by car, or the KTM Komuter direct from KL Sentral. We can pair it with FRIM for a full day of nature and culture.

FRIM Canopy Walk
A 30-metre-high canopy walkway through the world’s oldest man-made tropical rainforest at the Forest Research Institute Malaysia. 545 hectares of jungle trails, waterfalls, and the Forest SkyWalk in the Kepong Botanic Gardens — a genuine escape from the city.
Getting there: 20–30 minutes by car from Cormar. Bring water and walking shoes — the Forest SkyWalk is open 8:30am–4:30pm (closed midday Friday).

Kuala Selangor Fireflies
A quiet sampan boat ride on the Selangor River after sunset, drifting through mangroves illuminated by thousands of synchronised fireflies in the berembang trees. No flash photos, no motors — just the river, the stars and one of the most magical experiences in Malaysia.
Getting there: about 90 minutes by car from Cormar. Best on a clear, moonless night — we will help you time it with the weather.
